In the Summer of 2005, My father contacted me and began the discussion about getting into the insurance business. It was a discussion that changed my life. We made the plans and they were contingent on me passing the licensing exam. I dropped everything and studies for about 6 weeks straight. I had always been a C student and studying books was not one of my attributes. I had heard stories of people who take the exam 5-10 times before passing. Turns out that I passed the exam with a 94 on the first try. We opened for business in October 2005.
